WHY GUARANTEE DELIVERY WHEN YOU CAN'T DELIVER

I ordered something from Wellness Warehouse Cape Town and received excellent service, including a tracking number for my parcel that would be delivered Thursday morning via Fastway Couriers.By Thursday lunch time when said parcel had not arrived I went online and checked. It came up that my parcel had indeed come into Joburg, but for some reason was on its way to Klerksdorp. Really? Klerksdorp and Killarney obviously sound very similar. NOT. When I phoned in the afternoon - having still received no parcel, I was told it had been put in the wrong bay. And this is my problem, how??? I was also told the driver would receive a directive that the parcel is late and that it was guaranteed to come to me before 1pm, but he would be told that it was urgent. At 9:30am today - 24hours late - I receive a call to ask where am I in Joburg and that I wouldn't get the parcel until later this afternoon. 36hours late. The package does not contain something cheap. It's also something I urgently need. If I had known it would take so long I would have ordered from somewhere else. This level of service is not only unacceptable to me, it also impacts on their bigger clients. Meanwhile I'm still waiting.
