Delivery was taken for a 2011 Chery Tiggo on 16/8/2013. Over the weekend we discovered the spare tyre was not roadworthy and the plug wires was covered with insulation tape. It was reported to McCarthy Bloemfontein, Jaco agreed to fetch the vehicle on 19/8/2013 to fix aforementioned. On 21/8/2013 Jaco indicated that they will not fix it because the vehicle, VW Polo, that was traded in, had to be fixed and more specifically the aircon and the lower control arm bushes and also then windscreen has a crack. Firstly we were not aware of the defaults mentioned and Jaco was aware of the crack in the windshield! A roadworthy certificate was e-mailed to me and the response from Bloemfontein Auto Test Centre in Bloemfontein said they do not need to check the spare tyre? but according to the Traffic Dept in Brandfort it has to be checked. It just shows no matter with which car dealer you do business, you always get hassles. Regards CB Hamilton
