Efusing to work on a 95 bmw 320im

I phoned bmw and asked can they do a diagnostic test on my bmw, the guy on the says we dont work on that model, how can a bmw dealer refuse to work on a bmw, it not like they work for free i gonna pay them. But last week they wanted to fix my flex disk, it was a bit to much. But the diagnoatic is to cheap for them to bring my car in. So are bmw dealers such. Thanks james vorste
