Process improvements needed

I am a first for women policy holder my vehicle was involved in a car accident and I have car hire included in my policy which is through Budget. I was informed by first for women that a consultant from budget would contact me after an hour to arrange for the reservations of the car. Firstly the consultant did not contact me after an hour. After they had contacted me they then requested for me to give them my husbands ID number who was going to be collecting the vehicle, I did not know it off hand and requested them to call back after 30 minutes which they did not, I had to call in and was chased from one department to the next one. Eventually they put me through to a lady whom I then requested that my husband collects the vehicle at 7:00 pm on the 12/08/2013, I had previously requested so with the 1st consultant I spoke with and he said that should be no problem. When my husband came to pick the vehicle up he was advised that the vehicle had been booked for 7:00 am the next day, No one was willing to help saying that they cannot amend the booking. This is huge inconvinience and completely messes up all your plans not that I expect Budget rentals to value that or understand that.
