I bought a used car from Land Rover Durban in early July. Included in the price was R2, 000 for Licence and Reg. When the car was delivered to me it had a temporary licence, expiring on 31st July. Just before this I emailed the person I dealt with (Jason) to find out if the registration was done and when I would receive my number plates. After no response, I called on Wed, 31st July and was told by Chanelle that Jason no longer works there. She would therefore check my file and call me back. After failing to do this I called again the following day (1st Aug) and again I was promised a callback - which did not materialise. When trying to call again the day after that (2nd Aug) I kept getting an engaged signal. I submitted a complaint via the website and the receptionist replied via email to say that they are having problems with their landlines and Chanelle would call me back "urgently".
I have still not received ANY call from Land Rover Durban and I am still unable to get through to them via telephone.
This lack of service is pathetic for a brand as well-known as Land Rover. What more does a person have to do to get them to deliver a service they have already been paid for?!?
