I had medication posted to Bloemfontien from JHB for my parents. They were dropped off to be posted on Monday (29_08) and promised they would be delivered to them by EOD Wednesday (31_08) at worst case Thursday (01_08). This was made clear as it was chronic medication that needed to be delivered - hence VERY IMPORTANT!!
I then followed up on Thursday midday as they still had not arrived. The driver was then contacted and he notified the postnet he was on the road where they should be delivered and will def, be delivered by EOD (01_08). The driver however wanted my parents contact number to call them and find the place exactly where he needs to bring them to. This was provided.
4:30pm, my dad calls that no driver had delivered nor called them. Following up with the postnet again, they said the driver had contacted my parents and arranged for delivery the next morning instead (02_08) - HE!!! this was not agreed upon!
They got a phone call at 5:30am this morning instead (02_08) and the driver delivered the medication at 8am, reaking of beer.
My parents felt so ill already without medication for 1 day!! Is this what you call service?! Putting peoples health at risk?!
