30000km service cost R2539. Labour cost R1240 and parts cost R937 for a routine service. I felt ripped off. Maybe VWs are not as cheap to maintain is made out. My Toyota Hilux had a 110000km service (also a routine service) at McCarthy Toyota a day later. Total cost was R1219 (Labour R381 and parts R689).
