I took my Land Cruiser to Toyota Halfway in Fourways for a complete front differential overhaul. I agreed parts cost and labour costs and the guarantee for their work with the service rep who assured me they do the work. That's why I took it to Toyota and not a 3rd party who has no clue how the solid front differential is assembled. On the day I was to collect it the service rep was not in and I spoke to the Service Manager Mark. To my horror he informed me that my car was sent out to a third party in Edenvale who did the work of servicing my front Differential. NOT TOYOTA AS AGREER WITH THEM. They failed to inform me of this, and i based my spend decision on the fact that it would be serviced by Toyota at a cot of 15 0000. I could have simply bought the parts and taken them to some corner grease monkey shop myself at a lower cost and with no peace of mind that its done right. Clearly no pride and integrity by dealer who to me to get my money. You sell a clean and well organised front end workshop, but turns out you don't do the work at all, yet Ii base my decision on what you tell me and what I see on your premises. Absolutely disgusted. No more Toyota
