4 years ago, my car was rear ended, and taken to Renew It Randburg for the repairs. It took them aprox. 4 months to 'fix' my car. Because the boot has not been aligned properly, stress cracks over the boot area, forced me to return my car to Renew It, for repairs. The repairs I was told would take 2 weeks, they have had my car for 5 weeks, and still the car is not fixed properly. I properly had every man employed by the company (and a private assessor) yesterday tell me the job was acceptable, however when I said I would then take my car for independent reporting, they agreed with me that the workmanship was sub standard, and promptly disappeared! While I have been told all workmanship is guaranteed, and my car will be repaired when the stress cracks reappear, why can't my car be fixed properly the first time. Also I now am in the position of asking, if I want to trade my car in, how much money do I loose because of shoddy workmanship?
I believe, Renew It takes on too much work, so the technicians perform rush jobs, which end in customer dissatisfaction.
