Poor courier service, very disappointing

I went to the 3@1 shop in Randburg, Gauteng to send critical documents to client in Queesntown, Eastern Cape. The courier cost R272.00, I sent it at 2.30pm on Thursday the 27 June 2013.Person at the counter confirmed that the documents would be delivered by Friday (28 June) 12 midday. I called my client on the Friday at 2pm, no delivery was made. I subsequently called MDS and they said I must keep checking on line, I did so and the web site tracking said the document will be deliverd by Tuesday the 2nd July 2013, WHAT kind of courier service takes 5 days to deliver a pack of documents. As from Monday I have been calling MDS on the customer service line and was referred to Lerato in Jhb, tel 011 241 4900. She informed me that the courier was there on Friday 28 June late afternoon and she said no one was at the address, I subsequently spoke to my client and they said they were open till 5pm. Lerato then confirmed that documents would be delivered by Monday 1st July 5pm. I have called this morning (3 July) and my client has still not received the documents. I cannot believe that a courier company can take so long to deliver, especially at R272. Up your game, this is unacceptable!!!
