I will not go into details about Crown's, false promises, and generally chaotic communication here. They are ever present though. This complaint relates to the blatant disrespect that their packing employees had for our possessions. Firstly, while packing up our shipment in SA, they broke a cupboard door clean off. And then LAUGHED ABOUT IT. Drama ensued trying to get it fixed before we left for Aus, with a Crown employee telling me that it's my problem.
After months our shipment has finally arrived in Aus, and we've started unpacking. So many things are damaged, from just being shoved carelessly into boxes! Irreplaceable things, like my partner's collection of soccer memorabilia. I had a collection of foreign coins and banknotes, collected on our travels. The notes were, coins left behind. These are of little value (cannot be exchanged for Rands in such small amounts), but are PRICELESS to me. What a great testament of the WORTHLESS that Crown employs!
Now Kobus Jacobs will write a reply, trying to make it sound like this is an exceptional case. How do you sleep at night, knowing that you rob people of things that are so precious to them? You should be ashamed.
