Volkswagen
So who needs a car anyway... PLEASE

My VW Polo (1.4 16v) was displaying the EPC warning light. I was advised by VW that the problem was either throttle body, EGR VALVE, Map sensor and the oil separator, that need to be replaced. I decided this was easy enough to replace myself. After the same problem persisted and numerous guesses as to what the problem might be, by VW (Booysens) and R13 500 the problem still existed.
I took the vehicle to VW (Booysens) on the (20 December 2012) and was told that the system diagnostics would establish the fault and it would be fixed in no time.
After many calls I am now in for a bill of R19 000 - BUT the vehicle is in the exact same condition as when I started some a month ago.

AND to add vinegar to a now gushing wound... the VW Service call centre phoned last week to follow up on my satisfaction of the vehicle that I had serviced???
AND my daughter is now having to find a "lift-club" to university - from Vereeniging to Pretoria - very rare.

Who is going to pay for this and when will I be offered a courtesy vehicle at no cost to me???!!!
