No courtesy car, No customer service

I was driving from Ladysmith towards Durban when I experienced a problem with my brakes. The control pedal became stiff. I managed to stop the car and called the Pinetown branch which requested the Pietermaritsburg branch to assist. i was towed after an hour long wait. When I got to Pmb branch I was tossed beween one service advisor to another. Eventually Shabeer assisted. I then requested the courtesy car, both branches informed me that they do not have. I was offered a hired car provided I have a credit card. Unfortunately i did not have a credit card. My major concern at this stage is that I still do not know what is wrong with the car which led to the malfunctioniong of the brakes. My car was serviced 3 weeeks prior to my trip. It has been 7 days now and I am still without a car, so inconveniencing. Nobody from both branches is willing to assist nor just a decency of informing me when is the car going to be ready. i have called both services managers but I am still tossed from pillar to post. I urgently need a courtesy car until my car is fixed. The customer service from both branches is questionable.
