I drove to Safety Brake & Clutch in a panic - my brake and ABS lights were on.
Sure that meant danger and a fortune in replacement - I called to tell them I'm on my way.
When I arrived I was shown right in, offered a cup of coffee and place to charge my cell phone.
On asking what it would cost - I was told they are still checking but wouldn't go ahead until they had cleared it with me.
Shortly thereafter Paul Goosen came to me to say that there was in fact, nothing wrong with my brakes - it was merely the sensor light that was faulty. Paul said if I would wait a few minutes - they were replacing the sensor light. When I asked the cost - he said it was no charge.
I am so grateful and amazed at the prompt, friendly and efficient service I received today - nowadays we expect bad service.
Paul and his staff went the extra mile for me - and then didn't charge me for their time or the sensor light!
I have subsequently told everyone I have had contact with today about this.
If only we would all learn what good service actually does for a business!!
