I had purchased an Audi A4 2.0 TDi Avant from Funnel Cars in Pinetown on the 28 Nov 2012. The car mechanicially failed exactly 6 months from date of purchase. The initially discounted repair bill I need to covered is R 15600.00 which majority of the repairs were wear and tear related and the warranty had also been void, I was told that the vehicle has a full service history only to have discovered from Audi Umhlanga that this wasn't true.
I had also asked the dealership to disclose if there were any repairs or replacements to the car and my main concern was the turbo and related items and was advised that nothing was done but apparently the EGR valve that controls the turbo had been replaced but this wasnt disclosed.
This part was the contributing factor that caused the turbo and other components to fail. There is an outstanding amount of R12600.00 ex vat which Funnel Cars is liable for after receiving a second quote to have the car completely fixed. This dealership is totally ignoring the rules of the CPA.
The COR document had also been altered without explaination.
I have been without a vehicle from the 28 May 2013 and this has inconveinced me financially and personally
