My car had to go in for repairs on friday 24 May and after leaving my car in the morning I realised around lunch time that I had forgotten my ray-ban sunglasses in the roof console of my car. I then immediately phoned and spoke to Leonard at the panel beater and asked whether he can please check if my sunglasses are there and keep them safe for me. He confirmed that he would check and put it in the safe and phone me back. When he had not called before 4pm I phone again Leonard was not available and could not confirm but someone say they would be placed in the safe. On monday I phoned again and this time Leonard confirmed for me that they had found my glasses in my car and had placed it in the safe. On friday when I fetch my car they say now that it was not my sunglasses and that my sunglasses are gone. In phoning today I get told that because I signed that I removed all valuables they are not liable and it is my problem. Mr Price, director, then tells me that I'm in fact lying and did not really leave my glasses and it is not their problem. He knows that his staff is not lying, therefore I must be?! what kind of customer service is this?? How can they be trusted?? a Joke?!
