A new Oil Cooler was replaced onto my vehicle at NTT Stellenbosch. I went to PE for business and then the cars computer said insufficient coolant. That was after 2 weeks. I went to Tavcor in PE to ask for assistance, which after sitting there almost the hole day, they said that the Air Cooler had to be removed and send away to check if it is faulty. I said ok, because I am not a mechanic and then they told me that the car would only be ready the following week, which I then told them that I cannot wait that long because I must be in Cape Town on Monday for work. I then went home by plane and then they phoned me the Friday to say the car is finished and the invoice is R4098.35 for flushing the system and removing the Oil cooler en replacing it, which was not faulty and they were told by NTT Stellenbosch when they phoned not to take it off but went and did it anyway. I just feel that the Oil Cooler is under warranty for 12 months and they should have not charge me. I have lodged a complaint but VW SA could not help me.
