Poor service, lack of care and over priced

I recently took my vehicle that is 10 years old for a service like I always do to the VW agent for its service.
I was quoted close to R9000 for service and additional parts needed on the vehicle which is probably a 5th of the value of the total car.

The team did not replace filters, oil, spark plugs which they should have. They indicated I needed new wipers which I had replaced a month ago. They told me I need to replace a bonnet shock which was working fine. They need to refund me for the part.

The problem of a knocking sound which I have asked them to fix from the last two services was not found, they cannot figure out what causes that sound and hence I still have the knock. The mechanic took a test drive with my husband in the vehicle and he seemed very junior and was not able to fix it.

The dealer principle was not available to meet with my husband to discuss it.

I wont go back, they have lost the staff who use to give great service.
