After the coolant Iight on my car came on twice in a days time then took the car to GM in Bruma and asked them to have a look and find the problem. They phoned me 2 hours later and told me that the radiator is leaking and they would have to replace it. The radiator was replaced and R5500 later, I picked up the car the next day, on the way home about 15 km's for GM Bruma the car overheated and the coolant level light came on again the motor was steaming. I took it back to GM the next morning. That afternoon they phoned me and said that the head gasket was blown and that was the reason that the coolant level was dropping all the time. So I asked they guy how could they not have picked this up and that means they replaced the radiator for no reason because there was nothing wrong with the radiator, the answer he gave me was as follows " Sir we could not have picked up that the head gasket was blown without replacing the radiator". GM then took off the head replaced the head gasket and R20000 later I could drive again. Now 3 months later the tappet cover is leaking oil and I lost compression on cylinder 3. Now the whole motor needs to be rebuild! This is ridiculous service!
