2012 July, I've purchased Fiat 500 1.2 for my wife from Boksburg Fiat. I've decided to make sure on service interval and checked the manual book. Intereting enough the service book was made out for Punto instead of 500. It indicates that it need to be serviced 2 years/30000km, but manual indicated that for city driving the oil service must be done 1 year. I decided to call in. Service Advisor indicated that it need to be serviced every 2 years, but oil service must be done every year and not sure it will be covered by the service plan that I bought from them and told me to call them myself to make sure. Firstly, why do I need to call in? They sold the product and that they don't even know thier own product? They told me to bring in the vehicle but can not gurantee whether will be covered by the plan. Look I don't have time to drive around during my precious working hours and you tell me what is the actual service interval. I want to make sure that car is in perfect condition. The car already picked 16000 within 11months. Learn from professional such as Audi. People buy the product for after service. I even called person who sold and promised to come back but no respond as yet?
