PURCHASE OF GWM H5 2.4 PETROL (2012 MODEL)

In July 2012 I purchased the above mentioned vehicle from GWM Centurion (Sales Person Richard Shiranda: Tel: 0126534198). At the time of purchase I was informed by said salesperson that he would not recommend that I take out a service plan on the said vehicle, as "the services are so affordable that it is not cost effective to take out a service plan". He stated that the services are about R800. Richard also informed me that I would receive a "service book/record" when I take the vehicle for its first service which was at 15 000km (Which is also stated in the user manual).

I then took ownership of the vehicle. In May 2013 my vehicle was due for its 15 000km service. I phoned Centurion Select to make an appointment after which they told me that they were fully booked for the next two weeks. At the same time my husband was transferred from Pta to Durban and decided to bring the vehicle n for its service in Durban. During this time I started experiencing mechanical problems with the vehicle where the engine would just cut out spontaneously. As soon as I could I made an appointment to have the vehicle serviced at GWM Pinetown.
