Honeymoon couple held at randsom by europcar!

Groom made booking with Europcar through call centre and agreed on the rental price for car to be picked up at umhlanga branch on Sunday 19 May. The Thursday the branch phoned his sister and said they are closed and will charge an additional R500 to deliver the car on Sunday although call centre never disclosed this amount. What happened with acceptance of a contract ito price and delivery? She explained that it is unacceptable, said he is on honeymoon and she cannot reach him. She also insisted that the branch discuss it with the call centre since a contract has been concluded without this price included. Umhlanga branch promised to get back to her, but they never did. She phoned on Friday, but they said they are still busy with the issue and will get back to her, which they never did. On Saturday she phoned the call centre, they said if her brother does not pay the call-out fee he must wait until Monday to get a car since there is no manager on duty to deal with the issue, not even in the call centre? The poor honeymoon couple are actually left with no choice! If they dont pay the amount, they wont get a car. How convenient is that to not come back to client in office hours!
