I took my 2010 Renault Megane to East Rand Renault 27 Dec for a noise in the engine. Was diagnosed with a leaking seal & Cambelt problem. Then after further work, a fault was found on the Camshaft. I was told I would have to wait 21 days to get my vehicle back. I also had to wait for "authorisation". I have been wait patiently since & each Tuesday have gone to ERR & am told I should have my vehicle soon. They are waiting for a part. Are these parts not able to be couriered out of France? I am even prepared to pay for this service but it seems the std answer is "it takes a week". Time has gone by & still no part. I threw my toys this morning with the Service Manager who seemed to not remember my vehicle & was flustered. It is to early for him at 7am to know about vehicles in the dealership as well as my face that has been in numerous times? I know it isn't not the mechanics or service adviser's fault, but how long does a part the size of a torch battery take to be sent to ERR. I contacted Customer Services this morning & was told he would get back to me. The day has ended. I've call Brenda at ERR and still no part. Why am I calling & going in to ERR & not getting any feedback?
