BMW South Africa
Transmission error BMW M5

My BMW M5 had transmission error before at approx. 52000km whilst still under motorplan during which clutch etc. were replaced. Same error again now at approx. 74000km. This is a BMW manufacturing error which is internationally an issue (multiple forums exist regarding the same issue) from which BMW is running away from and want me to bare the cost ( > R30000). The service department at Vaalridge auto in Vereeniging claims that in their experience it is standard to have this problem every 20000km's. This can not be normal wear and tear and BMW should urgently attend to the matter. My car has been with them for more than 2 weeks. I have contacted BMW South Africa Customer Services but is still awaiting response. It is typical of the motor industry - they all run away from their responsibilities and want us to pay for their mistakes. THIS WOULD BE MY LAST BMW
