In February we brought a car for my son. Fiat Pinto 1200 16v. The car passed the AA Test, but we felt that the car was a bit heavy on fuel and it was close to the service date as well. I started to shop around for services and found Car Service City's pamphlet at the robot there they add services from R595. At the car dealer we found out that the service for the fiat could not be more than R950. Another reason why we bought that car. At the the Car Servcice City I informed them that there is a service plan on the card and that they must do a service for me. Well what a shock when I received a call saying that it will cost me R16000 to fix the car. I only wanted a service. The motor plan was only approved for a service that cost me R1395. When I got the car back the car was worst that ever could not pull away. Took the car back and 6 mechanics worked on the car to find out that they did not replace the plug wires properly. At home I discover that the air cleaner was not fastened and the nut is missing. I took the car back to the dealer and he fixed everything that needed to be done on the car. Was the car ever serviced or did they only claim easy money on the motor plan
