My kids wanted to go out for Ice Cream on a Sunday Afternoon, but ended up being quite disappointed instead. Firstly we went to the counter to place our order, the gentlemen behind the counter was too 'shy' to even look up from the till, and take my order. He waited for the lady next to him to serve me and she off course was also too busy to look up. I then went to another counter to order, I could actually sense the guys 'relief' when I walked away from him
I placed my order and paid, then went to the next counter to collect the Ice Creams. After waiting for 10 minutes we were told that their stock was finished!! this is disgusting considering we had already paid for the items, why were we not told that they were out stock before we paid??
To top it all we were given a broken ice cream cone!! fitted into another cone, this is really un-professional. My 3 year son took 1 look at it and refused to eat it. We were told that we couldn't get another 1 made as the stock was finished. The so called manager stood at his till, watched me ranting and raving at the staff and didn't even bother approaching us, finding out what the problem was and apologising!
