I went to the Steers branch in the Zone, and after waiting patiently in the queue I was served and ordered a a Caramel Fudge Super Swirl. After I paid, the woman behind the till waved vaguely toward counter and mumbled something about collection.
After 10 minutes of waiting I asked how long it would take to make an ice cream and was told I should have been told to collect it at the end counter (which was in any case unattended).
When I finally got my ice cream I was absolutely disgusted at the mess that was served to me. The caramel sauce was cheap, tasteless and rubbery and the "fudge" was a sprinkling of stale crumbs and dust that all simply fell off as soon as I removed the lid from the cup.
I was hoping to have a nice treat to help cope with the heat of the day... instead I was given this disgusting concoction that has successfully put me off ice cream for the foreseeable future.
I think your staff in this branch need better training in communicating with customers (none of them made eye contact, spoke clearly or offered to help other than taking my order) and you seriously need to rethink your ice cream range. Just because it is cheap, doesn't mean it should be inedible.
