Looking for a special dinner, my wife and I went to Cape Town Fish Market Greenstone JHB on 20/01/2014, and ordered a Kalk Bay Platter (for two).
After enjoying the first few mouthfuls of calamari, prawns and muscles the fish cakes tasted off. We brought this to the attention of the Manager, who showed little interest in our complaint and said some people like them and others don't. I requested that he or the chef taste them. We heard nothing further until our waiter brought us 3 small prawns (for two people?)
I approached the Manager again saying that it was little compensation for a ruined meal. There was no apologies at all.
To confirm our judgement my wife and I have diarrhoea.
Next time we will go back to The Ocean Basket, our favourite restaurant.
