I decided to take my girlfriend on a date on Friday as we have a child this does not happen often. As we were in Clearwater mall we decided to go to the meat company because we both felt like steak. We placed our drinks orders and starters Snails and Calamari heads the waitress then came back and told us the calamari heads were not in stock (which i can understand but she should know before hand) so i decided to take the salt and pepper calamari. Or dishes arrived the snails looked like they were in a light grey garlic porridge (they were obviously made with a white sauce and bottled crushed garlic) and the calamari was like rubber bands and for the price you charge only 5 little calamari is a bit over board. I am a chef at a 4 * hotel and this is totally unacceptable if you say fresh garlic on your menu use it and the prices you charge use cream. i just cant understand how you can serve food like that at those prices as a chef it makes me cringe and understand why people get so upset with the restaurant industry
