Very excited about going on the new revamped Harties Cableway. Noit a cheap ride, asking R140 per person. Keen to have a nice picnic on the top like you could in the past. They inform you on the web that no foof or drink allowed on cableway. BUT don't worry. You can have a dining experience at the top of the mountain. We especially did not eat breakfst, as we were in a rush to be at the cableway the moment it opens and we thought we could have a nice breakfast with a view. We arrived shortly after 9am. Got to the top at 9:34.very excitedly got a nice window seat.just to be informed that we would only be able to be served at 10am.we decided to have a coffe so long and my wife some rooibos tea.just to be informed that the coffee machine has been broken for 6 weeks and they have no hot water for tea.absolutely pathetic.when our food arrived, there was no cutlery and a plastic container full of cutlery was rushed out of the kitchen and started to dry them.overall terrible experience and embarressment to the cableway
