On 23/03/13 Visiting OR Tambo airport my family and I wanted to by an evening meal from KFC. We placed our order For a streetwise 2, Colonel burger, Regular tower and a fully loaded box meal. I was informed that we would have to wait a few minutes for the chicken to be prepared and had no problem with it. Upon receiving our order I was informed that there was no mash for the box meal and that I can only have gravy. I was not happy with that and told them i would accept that if they added a mini loaf. After much arguing they said yes. I took the meal and had a bite of the chips and it was cold. I told them and they said that they can warm it up in the microwave... I told them that that was unacceptable and that they must refund me for the box meal. The shift manager (Bongani) grabbed all the food and tossed it to the back shelf and started to refund my whole purchase. I informed the cashier (Dimakatso) that I was going to lay a complaint at head office and she casually with a smile on her face told me "and what are you going to tell them". Bongani's reply simply was "that's fine" This is not acceptable from a well known franchise.
