WAITED IN QUEUE FOR 1HR - NO FOOD

I went with my son to Eastgate Chicken Licken on the 7th of March to get dinner for my whole family, stood in the queue from 6pm and only got attended to at 6:45pm. while i was in the queue, at 6:15Pm the store manager pulled the roller gate halfway closed - not sure whether the store was half closed or half open but nevertheless i stood in the queue as no one said that the store was closing.by the time i got to ordering i was told there was no food - can you imagine my disappointment.i spoke to the manager on duty and she told me that she was cashing up at the back hence no one coming to tell the customers that there was no food and making us wait so long in the queue.she also said that they were short-staffed, NOT MY PROBLEM!!! i told her i am not leaving and going to another branch, i mean i had waited close to an hour... eventually i got frustrated with arguing as it was clear no one was going to do anything. There is no sign or board with the stores operating hours, the manager on duty could only apologise but was not prepared to do anything about the situation, i am really furious about the situation, at the end of the day - THAT IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
