I decided to eat early lunch at Thunderpeak Spur and after receiving an average welcm at the door, I found a seat and ordered a Rock Shandy. The waitress came back about 4mins later and confirmed they cannot make the drink due to no stock of bitter. I then ordered a Lime&Soda which arrived about another 5 - 7 mins later. My starter order was submitted wiht the drink and when the drink arrived, I ordered my main. My starter "eventually" came and it was two burger rolls with a hint of garlic and cheese. The kitchen didnt' have garlic loaves nor did anyone care abou advising me. While I was barley fifnished half of the starter my main course arrived and when I passed a comment, I was told "But you're almost fifnished anyway". Is this the norm that a main course just gets put on your desk while a starter hasn't even been digested? In the end it was poor service from everyone and lack of communication. I have worked in a seafood and steakhouse as a waiter and wonder why clients in West Street have to suffer like this.
