I had lunch at the Spur Rosebank on Saturday, June 8. Ordered nachos as a starter, terribly dry and cheese burnt. Our main course arrived with our table still dirty from the starters. I had ordered the T-Bone steak special (medium to well) -- meat was terribly tough. Now this is the second time that I have ha d a bad experience at this very branch. Previously, I had the owner (Fuad) call me to tell me when I come to the restuarant again -- I must ask for him and they will give me a R200 voucher. Now this can become a bit embarrassing that you have to ask for the owner before you can get vouchers, so I never bothered. I usually frequent Spur Fordsburg which is always so stunning, so I think Rosebank really needs to up their game.
