On Saturday evening at 18:00 (supper time), I went inside the petrol station that has the steers and I waited for 10 minutes whilst cashiers chatted amongst themselves, blatantly ignoring me at the counter, even after trying to get their attention.
Then I was informed, flippantly, that there were no chips. How can there be no chips at 18:00? Then I was told there 'could' be chips, but they had to be 1) defrosted and 2) cooked and I would have to wait.
We waited about 15 minutes till the food was finally ready. This was 25 minutes from walking into the door till leaving with two basic burger combo's. There were only two people there, ourselves and an elderly lady - so there wasn't excessive load on the kitchen by any means and Im sure your tills will confirm this.
During this time, 3 men came in and tried to place what I consider to be a sizable order, and they were also told there is no chips. Not that they would wait, that there were NO chips, which wasn't true because we were busy waiting for our chips to be defrosted/cooked. The men abandoned their order and left. Steers lost business there.
How can Steers not have chips at dinner time on a Saturday?
