A friend and I visited the Spur in West Street Durban on Wednesday, 13 February 2013 at around 10h00. We ordered a waffle with cream and a brownie with cream and ice cream. The waffle was burnt and rubbery and the brownie came with a very hard blob of cream. When we broke the "cream blob" up to investigate why it was so hard, we discovered a hard icy centre that looked like ice cream that had fallen on the floor. We paid for the items and left with a promise to never go back there! Very unappetising and unexpected from Spur.
