Today our family of 4 went to Mugg & Bean in Ballito. After a long wait (at least 15 minutes) Siyabonga came to take our order. My son ordered a chocolate waffle with cream and a Cuppacino, my wife and I ordered one waffle between the two of us with ice cream, and she ordered a red Latte and I a Cuppacino. My daughter ordered chocolate flapjacks with ice cream and an ice drink.
After about 20 minutes Siyabonga brought the drinks. Both the Cuppacinos as well as the Red Latte were cold. We then waited for at least another 15 minutes before the food arrived. My son's waffle was served with ice cream, not cream. My wife and my waffle had cream instead of ice cream and my daughter's flapjacks had nothing. Siyabonga apologised that the ice cream was not included, but promised to bring it. At that time we told him that the tea and coffee were served cold. After another 10 minutes he brought a new cup of Latte but did not exchange the Cuppacinos. He again promised to bring the ice cream for the waffles, but by that time we had already eaten it with syrup! When paying we waited another 10 minutes, because they only had one wireless speedpoint. I was very disappointed in Mugg & Bean today.
