I took my son to Ocean Basket in Plumstead last night after their renovations. We ordered a seafood pan (calamari, prawns, fish and chips) and a sushi platter for 2. When the pan arrived it didnt look very appertising but i thought lets taste and see. Well the fish was soo dry you had to really cut into it. the prawns looked pale and the chips was as dry as the day is long. The sushi rice was not cooked properly, hardly any sesemi seed and didnt taste like fresh sushi. I told the waiter but my partner and son didnt want to make a fuss. A agreed and told them i would call in the morning. I spoke to 2 managers and not even an apology. I told him i didnt want a free meal but they should definitely look into the matter. I was asked why i didnt say anything on the night - which i explained. Just thought that you would get more joy from a manager and they would be more appreciative of the feedback i gave them.
