My daughter and I went to the Goodwood Spur for lunch. We both ordered milkshakes and burgers.
Just out of interest I went on Hellopeter on my phone after we ordered our meal.
We were both shocked to see that a complaint was lodged with the Goodwood Spur that morning. It was when people the previous day ordered burgers and suffered from food poisoning. Naturally my daughter and I were both nervous to eat our burgers. We brought this to the waiter's (Anton) attention. I offered to pay for the meals and just leave.
With a cool & calm attitude, he said that he will speak to the manager. A few moments later and said the manager will just charge us for our drinks.
Both the manageress (Lala) and waiter were very understanding towards our concerns. Both of them apologised deeply. They truly made a good effort for a bad situation.
