On the 31st of December 2013 I went to Mugg and Bean at Mall at Reds to have lunch. While at the restaurant the electricity went off. This posed a problem as I needed to pay, all the speed points are electrically operated. I requested the attending waiter to take my number and call me once the electricity had returned as I had a pressing engagement elsewhere. She then called the floor manager, who called the restaurant manager to heed to my request. She blatantly refused to take my number and demanded that I leave my license as proof that I will return to make the payment. I left my drivers license with her and gave her my number to call as soon as the lights are on or before her shift ends, she agreed. At about 17h30 I went back to the restaurant as she was not calling, to my surprise the restaurant was closed. I was left without a license from the 31st - the 2nd. I have missed traveling to celebrate New Year's Eve with family, I have missed several business meetings that I had arranged for the 01st. I am extremely disappointed at the treatment that I received from Mugg and Bean, they have shown no regard for my needs, they were only interested in their payment yet no generator!
