We had quite an expensive dinner at Ocean Basket Featherbrooke Shopping Centre, West Rand this evening. When the waiter collected our plates she asked how the meal was. I told her honestly that the fish wasn't great, no taste, not good. The Manager came and advised that in fact they'd had some 'bad' batches and agreed with me it was RUBBERY!! He quickly said they wouldnt charge for it. The bill came with a discount of R13.49!!! off meal costing R55.00!!! So the cost of the fish in that meal was R13.49 and the veggies R41.50. I am seriously not impressed with their indifference, especially when they knew beforehand they were selling 'rubbery' fish. We will most certainly not eat at ANY Ocean Basket and will make it known that at Ocean Basket even when they know the fish is dodgy and rubbery they still sell it and try and catch you!!! And if they get caught out, give a tiny discount!! Shocking!!
