Poor product quality & service

We were at Parrots in Menlyn yesterday afternoon for lunch. I ordered the halloumi salad. I was really looking forward to it because it sounded so good.

When my salad was put down in front of me, I was very disappointed. For such an expensive salad I only had six tiny strips of halloumi. They were literally 1cm x 7cm! I asked for olive oil & they brought me a bottle. It looked very watery & the color wasn't right either so we tested it. It was not olive oil. I called the waiter & asked for 100% olive oil for the second time. This time the manager just brought me another bottle off another table. This bottle was also not olive oil! I asked them to bring me the olive oil bottle itself & the waiter just made excuses.

I decided not to have the oil over my salad & dry tasteless halloumi seeing that I have allergies & have to be careful. They could've poisoned me even after I specifically asked them for olive oil, but they didn't care.

Other than that the leaves still had soil on them & the olives were expired!

I've had enough of Parrots' terrible food & service after many visits there.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!
