I purchased a birthday cake from Luvies Bakery for my son's 3rd birthday yesterday. I was impressed with the presentation as it was impeccable. At my sons party on cutting this cake it was heavy and dense. It was evident it wasn't fully cooked. It looked so not like a vanilla sponge. On tasting it, it was like eating raw dough and floury. It tasted oily and extremely horrid. Iv never been so disappointed in a cake before. I email a complaint but not a single word of apology back. I have to now throw away R300 of my hard earned money on a worthless birthday cake that no one can eat. Thank my son is too young to understand. I would never support this bakery ever. Truly disappointed with the product.
