Checkers' dry birthday cake

My sister ordered a vanilla " Princess" birthday cake for her granddaughter on 9 Dec 2013, for collection Friday 13 Dec. On Friday morning a Checkers bakery employee called to say the "Princess" print didn't arrive and we had to choose either a "Minnie Mouse" or "Hello Kitty" cake. She apologised and I selected the former. My father collected a cake by 4pm after presenting the original order form and he was given an "Ariel Mermaid" cake. When I arrived home the evening after 6pm I noted the different design and thought they managed to get other prints after all. Upon cutting the cake I discovered it was a dry chocolate cake. Then I suspected we were given the wrong cake. On 15 Dec I spoke to one of the supervisors who promised to call back. After no reply I called the store 3 days later and spoke to the employee that contacted us on 13 Dec. She informed me that there was a mix-up and the other customer was angry for not receiving the "Ariel" cake and my father was at fault so we received the wrong cake! I'm unhappy with Checkers' response that we as the customer was at fault. I will not be ordering another birthday cake from Checkers.
