On Saturday I was at Spur Canal Walk with two friends. We often go there as it's our favourite branch, but the service we got on Saturday was terrible.
We ordered a burger and two Phille Steak Rolls, because we wanted to try something new. First off, the waiter got our drinks order wrong so that had to be sent back. Secondly, we waited FORTY MINUTES for our food and it just didn't show up. People who had arrived after us were already finishing up their food and we were still waiting. Aslo, Spur wasn't that full, so there was no reason for the wait. Our waiter only showed up once during this forty min period to say the food is coming. But nothing. So finally after 45 min, we decided to leave. It was ridiculous waiting that long. Eventhough they could see I was very unhappy, they still had me pay for my drinks. R70. My number was taken to follow up, I am still waiting for a phone call. Nothing was done to keep me happy or keep my business, at the very least I was expecting them to say, sorry, our bad, this isn't the norm, please have the drinks on the house and next time we will do better. NOTHING!!!
Really disappointing service. I expect more from such a huge franchise.
