Bad service regarding Discovery partne

On Sunday 23th I went to Nandos Milnerton's drive through. I visit Nando's frequently and pay with my Discovery card to get 15% cash back. On this occasion my card did not seem to work and try as they might nothing happened and it kept asking for a pin to which I replied that there is not a pin on the card. The manager on duty claimed that it was perhaps "due to changes being implemented by Nando's". I do not buy this and because of this I lost out on my cash back! I am now very unhappy about the way Nando's brushed this off and am hesitant to visit Nandos again! I phoned discovery and they claimed it was not due to any problem from their side. If Nando's don't take Discovery cards anymore they should communicate it clearly!
