We had a quick meal at Nandos Sunninghill. My fiance and I chatted whilst leaving and only at the car I noticed that I had forgotten my cellphone on the table. We returned right away just to be told that no-one had seen my phone. Only one other person dined at Nando at the same time as us and was still seated-thus it was pretty obvious that a staff member had taken my phone The waitress/cleanewe claimed my phone was not on the table when she cleared it. After a lot of back and forth and arguing we pointed to the camera and my fiance said that we will find the and that head office will be contacted. Sunday morning we received a call from the store manmanager. Aubrey announced that the waitress/cleaner has given back my phone and that we could collect it. My fiance went right away and spoke to both manager and waitress. The waitress was apologetic and cried and eexplained that she had financial problems and saw it as an oppurtunity. I am glad I got my phone back but am so sadend that a Nando's staff member was able to my phone within minutes. I know the only reason why she turned herself in is due to the cameras-she realised it would come out. So disappointed!
