I suppose McD's introduced new KPI but what is the use of KPI if people are just bypassing the process. It is really annoying order breakfast in breakfast time - Then you get to the front with no one behind you and you get told to "go and park" because the coffee is not ready or the hash-browns are not ready. KPI and target are there for a reason. To improve service NOT TO FIND NEW LOOPHOLES TO ANNOY customers. It takes up to 20 min for them to bring your stuff if you "go and park"... this option should be used if you order something that takes long to prepare (like ordering a steak at a drive thru window not the case at McD). That is why we use drive thru and not counter order. When you say NO you don't know who will be spitting in your food they give you such attitude. Please re-look your targets and the loopholes - Cause your KPI might look good but it is really just a CHEAT! If you refuse to "go park" they tell you to move back so your wheel is not on the sensor! REALLY???
