According to law, all restaurants are suppose to make nutritional information & allergens of all their meals and beverages available. Mugg & Bean seems to not have any interest in complying to this. I've contacted them no less than 5 times regarding this with ZERO response.
If you request allergens in the restaurant, they simply say they receive it from head offices and it is not on the packaging. My mother, sister and 2 nieces are allergic to soya, egg and dairy. One Sunday we asked about allergens in the Ciabatta bread, to which the waiter said there is no soya, egg or dairy in it. I then double checked with the manager which gave the whole unmarked packaging from story, but then later returned to say that he had called (open on a Sunday??) and there are no allergens in the Ciabatta. They all fell sick after that meal :-(
I feel this is highly unfair, how can you make healthy choices if they refuse to disclose their information! It's unacceptable. Of course, they are not the only guilty ones.
