I love going to Spur but will not return to their restaurant in the Menlyn shopping mall again. I have had various complaints and returned each time hoping that their shortcommings would have been addressed and resolved but was last night the last straw. We ordered the burger special but wanted one dubble burger and would have paid for the extra patty. The waiter, a trainee, did not understand our order and did we have to explain our request to another waiter, who then explained it to him only to have him confirm the order, which was wrong again. A person, whose name I did not get, then came to confirm our order again and confirmed that it was in order and that he would explain it to the trainee in his own language. After we had our supper and waited for quite some time for the bill, we went to the front desk to pay and guess what, the bill was wrong and included the burger special and an additional dubble burger. None of the managers who undertook to sort out the issue, did and did we have to explain this again, after which the Melody then could not correct the bill and then battled to do the calculations. Our request was not rocket science.
